Patricia Brogan is New Vice President of Sales at Elo TouchSystems

Elo TouchSystems, the industry leader in touch technology and a wholly owned subsidiary of Raychem Corporation, today announced that Patricia Brogan is its new vice president of sales.
“Patricia Brogan brings to Elo 20 years of successful sales and marketing experience in the computer industry,” said Robert Roeser, president of Elo TouchSystems. “Her expertise with channels, international sales and partnership programs will be of great value to Elo.”
Brogan comes to Elo from Giga Information Group, a market analysis firm for the computer industry founded by Gideon Gartner of The Gartner Group. She served as vice president of Giga and general manager of its ExperNet Division. Brogan developed the business plan and hired resources to launch the start-up company, creating and implementing partnership programs that will eventually link more than 1,000 IT experts with Fortune 1000 partners. She also developed alternate sales channels for the ExperNet Division.
Prior to her work with Giga, Brogan was director of AppleSoft Sales, Marketing and Operations for Apple Computer, Inc., where she launched and grew the AppleSoft product line, achieving sales results that, within a two-year period, placed the business among the top 20 independent software vendors. She also previously served as director of business development for Borland International and in various marketing and sales positions for IBM Corporation and Procter & Gamble.
“Elo has consistently achieved double-digit growth,” said Brogan. “My goal is to accelerate Elo’s growth even further.
“Many people don’t yet realize how easy it is to incorporate and use touch technology in a wide variety of applications. The retail, manufacturing, financial, and medical markets are just a few of the markets where touch can make a real difference in increasing user productivity,” said Brogan.
